AHS Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) Student Challenge Rules Announced

Honeywell MAV conceptThe Micro Air Vehicle Student Challenge will be held at the AHS Forum 69 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday May 21. The Challenge will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the exhibit hall during the Industry/Exhibitor Reception.

Sikorsky Aircraft has generously pledged $3,000 in prize money!

The competition is designed to award both “form” and “function” of the MAV. With respect to “form”, teams with unique, innovative and robust VTOL MAV air-vehicle design would be awarded points. With respect to “function”, teams that demonstrate the best flight and autonomy capabilities would be awarded. Teams can receive multiple awards based on these aspects.
