Gamera team continues setting records

Close-up of Gamera cockpit, 8/28/2012The University of Maryland continued testing of its Gamera II human powered helicopter (HPH). On Tuesday, August 28, the students set another unofficial world endurance record of approximately 65 seconds and an altitude record of approximately 8 ft. The actual maximum endurance and altitude will be verified by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA) once this series of testing is complete.
