*The 'Wind Meets Vertical Lift' session will look at specific technical challenges shared between both industries, and what we can learn from each other. We'll start the session out with a panel session with executives from NextEra Energy, Bell Helicopter and Sentient Science to discuss design qualifications and uprating evaluations, advanced materials and processes for life extension, prognostics and diagnostic techniques to reduce O&M costs, and computational fluid dynamics and rotor operations.  In addition, several technical papers will be presented covering subject matter from wind turbine wake, aeroelastic optimization of composite wind turbine wake to repair for helicopters and wind turbines via isotropic superfinishing. At the end of the session there will be an interactive panel discussion — a unique opportunity to meet the wind industry executives.
