David Coleman

David Coleman is a PhD student at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received his B.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland in 2013. David works under the direction of Dr. Moble Benedict, whose lab is developing a bio-inspired robotic hummingbird capable of sustained hover and controlled flight. In 2015, David received second place in the AHS International Robert L. Lichten award competition for his paper “Design, Development and Flight-Testing of a Robotic Hummingbird.”
