James McElreath is an undergraduate student in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University,and currently assists Dr. Moble Benedict at the Advanced Vertical Flight Laboratory. James was named the international runner-up of the Society's prestigious 2018 Robert L. Lichten Award competition for his paper "Tip Vortex Measurements on a Cycloidal Rotor Blade at Ultralow Reynolds Numbers.”
What are some of your current projects or research interests?
I'm currently running experiments to better understand the three-dimensional unsteady aerodynamics on a cycloidal rotor blade at the Advanced Vertical Flight Laboratory.
