Brian Eberle
Georgia Institute of Technology
Brian Eberle is a Mechanical Engineering PhD student working under Dr. Jonathan Rogers at Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in 2016, also from Georgia Tech. Brian’s research focuses on developing a real-time, autonomous autorotation control law and is supported by the Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence. As an undergraduate, Brian completed a three-rotation Co-op with GE Aviation. His experience with GE ranged from structural design of a legacy engine to preliminary design of an engine for the Next Generation Air Dominance Vehicle. He is also an instrument-rated private airplane pilot and hopes to earn his commercial license soon. These experiences have fostered a strong interest in and passion for aerospace and specifically VTOL engineering.
