Chloe Johnson
University of Texas at Austin
Chloe Johnson is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at Austin under the supervision of Dr. Jayant Sirohi. She received a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently, her research focuses on experimental measurements of coaxial, co-rotating rotors. The goal of this research is to quantify the effects of rotor geometry on overall performance and noise and use the data to improve current analytical prediction methods. After graduation, Chloe hopes to continue working in the rotorcraft field to improve the next generation of VTOL aircraft, with a focus on experimental rotor acoustics.
