Connor Elliott

Texas A&M University

Connor Elliott is going into his senior year at Texas A&M University, where he majors in Aerospace Engineering and minors in Mathematics. At Texas A&M, Connor works with Dr. Moble Benedict in the Advanced Vertical Flight Laboratory (AVFL), where he is designing, developing, and testing an autonomous UAV with foldable propeller arms (making it small enough to fit in a pocket). The quadcopter is hand-launched (with any initial translational or angular velocity or acceleration) and then deploys the propeller arms and recovers to a stable flight automatically. This summer, Connor will be interning with Boeing in Everett, Washington, and plans to pursue a Masters degree at Texas A&M post graduation.
