Zoelle Wong
Georgia Institute of Technology
Zoelle Wong is a Ph.D. student in aerospace engineering under Dr. Juergen Rauleder in CEREAL, supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and Amelia Earhart Fellowship. Her research involves developing magnetohydrodynamic and multiphase computational fluid dynamic models to study carbon dioxide for arc-ignition and arc-quenching problems. Prior to joining CEREAL, Zoelle received degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mandarin at the University of Texas at Austin, interned at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and METECS at the Johnson Space Center, and co-founded Fermata Reeds Inc. After joining CEREAL, she became president of the VFS ATL chapter for two consecutive years. After graduation, Zoelle hopes to design next generation propulsion devices and continue mentoring students.
