Aishwerya Singh Gahlot

Georgia Institute of Technology

Aishwerya Gahlot is a PhD candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a citizen of India and holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace engineering with a minor in Avionics from the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, where she graduated first in her class in 2020. Before embarking on her graduate journey, she worked in the Aerospace industry for over a year, gaining valuable industry experience. Currently, Aishwerya is a graduate research assistant at Georgia Tech’s Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence, where she is working under the guidance of Dr. L. N Sankar. Her research focuses on expanding the physical understanding of the effects of rain and icing on the performance of Air Mobility Systems. Aishwerya is committed to contributing to the development of innovative and efficient advanced air mobility solutions and aspires to inspire others to take an interest in this field.
