Eleni Sotiropoulos-Georgiopoulos

Eleni Sotiropoulos is a PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She began her engineering studies at ISAE-Supaero in France, and then pursued a double-degree with the Georgia Institute of Technology. She graduated with M.Sc. from both schools in Spring 2022. She currently works as a research assistant under Professor Dimitri Mavris in the ASDL (Aerospace System Design Laboratory). Her research focuses on Vortex Ring State recovery techniques aiming at improving rotorcraft safety, as part of the FAA's PEGASAS (Partnership to Enhance General Aviation Safety Accessibility and Sustainability) project.
