Lucie Kovarik

Lucie Kovarik is a sophomore studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan with a minor in Sustainability. Lucie is the Systems Lead for the M-SAAVE HUM project team where the team has partnered with Air Serv International to expand their reach in Sub-Saharan Africa into unmanned operations by delivering an aerial vehicle to be capable of discrete missions, equipped with an airdrop payload delivery to supply medical supplies and food to unreached people, and also have a mapping payload for aerial surveillance in disaster management. She is also on the board for Women in Aeronautics and Astronautics and part of the Society of Women Engineers, Michigan Camping Club, SWIndia, and IM Soccer. She hopes to work on eVTOL or hydrogen-powered aircraft in the future, especially in Europe. Lucie will be interning at Rolls Royce in the summer of 2024.
