Lucas Park

Lucas Park is a third-year aerospace engineering student at UC Irvine. Lucas founded and leads a student chapter of The Vertical Flight Society at UC Irvine where he aims to engage undergraduate students in the field of vertical flight technology. Previously, Lucas gained experience as an intern focusing on the development of high-power battery modules optimized for electric aircrafts. This summer, he will be furthering his experience in industry by working on the integration of hybrid-electric propulsion systems in aircraft. Lucas’s primary interests revolve around advanced aircraft designs and sustainability within the aviation industry.
