Pennsylvania State University
Micaela Crispin is a second-year M.S. student in Aerospace Engineering at Penn State University. Under the guidance of Dr. Joe Horn, she conducts research in rotorcraft flight dynamics and controls, focusing on developing simulations for EVTOL aircraft. In 2020, she earned her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Astronomy from the University of Kansas. Additionally, Micaela is part of the Pathways Program with the Rotorcraft Aeromechanics Branch at NASA Ames Research Center, where she previously interned for over a year, primarily working on the development of a 6DoF model for assessing stabilization capabilities of a Mars Helicopter concept. Following the completion of her M.S. degree, Micaela intends to continue her academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. at Penn State, aiming to deepen her knowledge in the field of rotorcraft flight dynamics and controls.
