Akshaj "Akku" Kumar is a senior Aerospace Engineer at Texas A&M University. After graduating in just 3 years from his BS with university-wide, departmental, and Latin honors, he intends to pursue his MS with Dr. Moble Benedict in the Advanced Vertical Research Laboratory. His research is focused on automating drones to land on ships in rough conditions using reinforcement learning. His other interests include training to climb Denali, playing in the Texas A&M pep band, and teaching programming to local high school students.
