Heather Beers

Heather L. Beers is a first-year M.S. student in aerospace engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she also earned her B.S. in aerospace engineering in December 2024. Her graduate work focuses on human-machine interface in rotorcraft systems and business implementation. Under the guidance of Dr. Karen Feigh at Georgia Tech’s Cognitive Engineering Center, she is researching multi-modal cueing in high-workload helicopter environments, integrating 3D audio, haptic feedback, and symbology design for U.S. military applications. A passion-projects person at heart, Heather’s interests also span AI education, human factors optimization, and engineering consultation. She is excited to broaden her knowledge in industry this summer as a systems engineering intern with Northrop Grumman.
