Isabelle Sanz

Georgia Institute of Technology

Isabelle Sanz is a first year Ph.D. student in Aerospace Engineering working with Dr. Cristina Riso. She investigates novel mathematical formulations to introduce aeroelastic requirements as constraints into computational design optimization of fixed-wing and vertical lift aerospace vehicles. Before beginning her doctoral studies at Georgia Tech, Isabelle received her B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and interned at Gulfstream Aerospace. Throughout her studies, she hopes to continue growing as a researcher and mentor at the intersection of the fixed-wing and vertical lift aerospace communities through academia-industry collaborations, internships, and outreach opportunities.
