Visesh Uppoor

Visesh Uppoor is a first-year Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland Alfred Gessow Rotorcraft Center under Dr. Inderjit Chopra. He graduated with a B.S. in Aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland in 2024 in two years with Latin honors. His research focuses on high-advance ratio aeroelastic stability through experimentation using smart structure actuators and comprehensive analysis to enable future high-speed rotorcraft. Outside of research, Visesh is an active Carnatic violinist, sailor, and pilot.
