The 1st Asian/Australian Rotorcraft Forum and Exhibition (ARF & Exhibition 2012) will be held in Busan, Korea on February 12 – 15, 2012. This event is co-sponsored by the AHS Korean Chapter.
This conference is to enhance interactions among researchers in academia/industry/government, helicopter operators, designers, program managers, regulators, and maintenances in the Asian and Australian regions. It will provide excellent opportunities to share information on the current and future rotorcraft development programs and latest innovative techniques in various countries. The conference will cover the following technical areas, but not limited to: rotorcraft design, aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, dynamics, flight controls and autonomous systems, composites, smart structures, propulsion, UAV, system integration, reliability, affordability, HUMS, avionics, subsystems, communications, sensors, safe operations, and especially current rotorcraft development programs. The exhibition will display many new products, including SURION (Korean Utility Helicopter) and Smart tiltrotor UAV, and the status report on KAH (Korean Attack Helicopter).
Based on the agreement among China, India, Japan, Australia, and Korea, the Forum will be held on a rotating base among participating countries. Busan is the second-largest metropolitan city in Korea, and has many beautiful shores as well as exciting entertainments.
