The ((Quiet)) Electric VTOL Revolution
4th Annual eVTOL Panel at Heli-Expo 2022
Hosted by the Vertical Flight Society and sponsored by eVTOL.com / Vertical Magazine
Wednesday, March 9, 2022 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas @ Room C156 (change!)
The Vertical Flight Society is holding its fourth annual panel discussion of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft at Heli-Expo. This year, the panel will discuss the acoustic benefits of eVTOL aircraft and seek greater engagement from the HAI membership. Leading members from the eVTOL industry and HAI’s Fly Neighborly Working Group will provide their perspectives.

Wednesday morning, March 9 @ 9-11 am, Room C156
- Moderated by Jim Sherman, Vertical Flight Society
- Juliet Page, Blue Ridge Research & Consulting — HAI Fly Neighborly Working Group Chair
- Ben Goldman, Archer Aviation
- Mark Moore, CEO, Whisper Aero
- Rex Alexander, CEO, 5-Alpha
In 2018 and 2019, VFS held panels on The Electric VTOL Revolution, with leaders from Airbus, Bell, FAA, Uber and NEXA explaining the potential of eVTOL for missions such as urban air mobility (UAM). In 2020 and this year, we have focused on one of the most important issues for UAM — acceptance.
Vertical Magazine's eVTOL.com news site is the sponsor for this event. There is no cost to attend the panel, but you must be registered for Heli-Expo. A continental breakfast with coffee and light refreshments will be served.
Don't miss this insightful panel discussion by experts in UAM and acoustics!

About the Vertical Flight Society: VFS was founded as the American Helicopter Society in 1943 by the visionaries of the early helicopter industry, who believed that technological advancements and collaboration were essential to support this new type of aircraft. Today, history is repeating itself with VFS playing a similar role helping to advance today’s revolutionary VTOL aircraft. See our electric VTOL website at www.eVTOL.news.
