"Rotorcraft Research—A National Effort,"
by the late John F. Ward. This was the 6th Annual Alexander A. Nikolsky Lecture, presented in June 1986.
John Ward joined the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) in 1952
and had a long career with NASA, the FAA and at ORI, Inc. Ward passed away recently, and this Paper of the Month is dedicated in his honor.
