Forum 75
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA | May 13-16, 2019
The Vertical Flight Society's 75th Annual Forum & Technology Display was a great success! More than 1,400 people experienced the "Future of Vertical Flight" at Forum 75, held May 13-16, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. More than 280 technical papers were presented, plus more than 75 invited presentations and panel discussions by experts and decision makers in industry, academia, government agencies and research institutions.
This year's 75th Annual Forum & Technology Display spans four days and bridges 75 years of historical perspective with a vision for the "Future of Vertical Flight."
At the Society’s 75th Annual Grand Awards Banquet, more than 20 individual and group awards were presented to recognize the vertical flight community’s greatest accomplishments. At the Banquet, the Society presented 28 scholarships totaling $100,000 as part of its educational mission; in addition, some 80 student volunteers attended the forum at no charge to assist in administering the technical conference.
