Victoria Britcher

University of Maryland

Victoria Britcher is a second year PhD student in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is currently conducting research on vision-based shipboard landing under the supervision of Dr. Anubhav Datta. Victoria completed a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics, and later a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, from Carnegie Mellon University. Her Master’s research focused on biologically-inspired sensing for micro aerial vehicles. After completing her PhD, she hopes to continue working in the areas of autonomous rotorcraft and unmanned aerial vehicles.
