Logan Tanner Swaisgood

University of Maryland

Logan Swaisgood is a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, College Park, conducting research with the Rotorcraft department under the mentorship of Dr. Anubhav Datta. Logan has a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UMD and investigates ways to improve 3D CFD/CSD coupled simulations by applying aerodynamic forces more precisely to 3D structural models. Logan has published his research in two forum papers for VFS and AIAA, and after he graduates, he dreams of working at NASA Ames Research Center and developing rotor blades for the next Mars Science Helicopters.
