The Journal of the American Helicopter Society (JAHS) is the leading peer-reviewed technical publication dedicated to vertical flight. Published quarterly by the Vertical Flight Society (VFS). JAHS showcases original, high-quality research that advances the science and technology of all forms of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) technology.
The Journal covers the full-spectrum of VTOL platforms – including helicopters, tiltrotors, advanced rotorcraft, and electric VTOL (eVTOL) aircraft – spanning both conventional and emerging technologies. With a mission to advance vertical flight technology across all domains – civil, commercial, and military.
