Forum 76 a huge success

On Thursday, Oct. 8, we finished our virtual 76th Annual Forum & Technology Display. The Forum proceedings and the videos for the 250 presentations have been posted.

The Forum 76 proceedings can be accessed by Forum full-registrants attendees through www.vtol.org/my-VFS. The session video recordings can be viewed by logging into the Forum 76 Videos page on this website (new!).

Forum registrants and Technology Display (exhibit hall)-only registrants can also log into the event site — www.eventscribe.com/2020/Forum-76/ — to review all of the authors and papers, and our sponsors and exhibitors — just log in for access to the Forum 76 site. If you missed anything, everything will continue to be online through September 2021.

In fact, you can still register for the Forum and watch all 250 presentations at your leisure, just like being there — all the exhibit booths are also still online. The only difference is that you can't ask questions of the speakers through the event site and the booths won't be staffed, though you can always reach out to the exhibitors and presenters through the contacts provided.

We had more than 1,250 registrants for Forum 76, and received rave reviews for the maintaining the very high standard of excellence for the Annual Forum. This was only possible through the hard work over the past 15 months of the 619 authors/co-authors, 50+ some student volunteers, 40+ session chairs/co-chairs, hundreds of committee members and our 8 staff members who planned and replanned the Forum three times.

Thank you also to our 33 exhibitors and their staff in our annual Technology Display and to our 16 sponsors, who provide the support needed to host the Forum every year.

We hope very much that we will be able to hold Forum 77 as planned in Palm Beach, Florida, May 11-13. The abstract drop dead deadline is Nov. 9. Please plan to part of it! www.vtol.org/forum

Virtually yours,

Mike.
