The 2027 Transformative Vertical Flight Conference taking place February 23-25, 2027 at the Long Beach Marriott. Join industry leaders, researchers for this premier event focused on advancing vertical flight technologies and applications. The event will feature the 14th Annual Electric VTOL Symposium, exploring emerging eVTOL challenges and solutions and the Rotorcraft as a Service for Public Good Specialist Meeting, sponsored by the VFS SoCal Chapter. Electric VTOL Symposium

For the first time, the Transformative Vertical Flight (TVF) conference will be held in the greater Los Angeles area; a hub of activity for future VTOL advancements, including commercial UAS, defense, eVTOL, and other related technologies. The conference will take place in Long Beach, home to many aerospace startups and defense primes. Invited presentations are sought highlighting developments in future vertical flight technologies, for both manned and unmanned applications – send proposed presentation topics for the eVTOL Symposium to events@socal.vtol.org.

Modeling and Simulation for Certification

This workshop, will be held Feb 24, 2027 as part of the TVF 2027 conference and will bring together the three leading standardization efforts in rotorcraft/eVTOL certification-by-simulation — the Clean Sky 2 RoCS project, SAE G-35C's ARP7094, and EUROCAE WG-112's ED-342 — through invited presentations and a closing round table comparing their approaches to requirements capture, fidelity assessment, uncertainty quantification, and simulation credibility. Rotorcraft for Public Service Specialists' Meeting

This meeting will bring together industry, government, and academic experts to discuss emerging technical challenges, operational needs, and innovative solutions for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft supporting public service missions. These missions include emergency response, disaster relief, medical evacuation, infrastructure support, and environmental monitoring. Technical Papers or Presentations are invited that advance technical understanding, analytical tools, and enable new technologies to improve the effectiveness of rotorcraft in public service roles.
