About the Vertical Flight Foundation
VFF LogoFounded in 1967, the Vertical Flight Foundation (VFF) serves as the philanthropic arm of the Vertical Flight Society (formerly the American Helicopter Society). As a registered charitable organization, the Foundation operates entirely through voluntary tax-deductible contributions.

What makes VFF unique is our commitment to impact and transparency: 100% of every dollar goes directly to student scholarships.

The Vertical Flight Society covers all administrative and accounting expenses, ensuring that every dollar you give supports the education and advancement of future vertical flight innovators. In addition, the Society contributes a portion of its own revenue to further amplify the reach and effectiveness of individual gifts.
